Pressure Washer Tip: Gas Powered pressure washers are normally more powerful than electric powered pressure washers. High water pressure levels are ideal for cleaning large areas and removing tough stains. They are typically very portable, and therefore commonly found in industrial settings. Gas-powered pressure washers must only be used outdoors due to carbon monoxide emissions.

Kärcher manufactures more pressure washers than any other company in the world and currently holds more than 260 patents. Every Kärcher pressure washer is designed and produced to the highest quality standards. Our engineers focus on implementing the latest findings in ergonomics, service and user friendliness.

The following models are no longer being produced by Kärcher but may still be available in some areas. When purchased new through an authorized reseller they retain their full, original warranty.

Pressure Washer Tip: Electric Powered pressure washers are lightweight and conveniently used around the home, or for light industrial projects. They are limited in cleaning power production, but are very safe and extremely efficient. They are ideal for cleaning patio furniture and cars. Electric powered pressure washers can be used either indoors or outdoors and are extremely quiet. Electric powered pressure washers are designed for occasional use, typically about 2 hours per week.

Refurbished units may also be available in some areas. Refer to the packaging and warranty registration card for specific warranty information.

” I’ve used this washer off and on for probably a year now. It’s OK for very light duty work ( there’s a reason why the accessories listed include brushes, etc! ) If you’re looking for something that will clean quickly, move up a step or 2. This 1’s economical, but remember that you get what you pay for! When washing a vehicle, hand washing is required to do a good job.

Pressure Washer Tip: How do pressure washers work? Pressure washers connect to a standard garden hose (or another water source). Their engine, high pressure hose, and nozzle all work together to create an accelerated water stream which can be about 50 times more powerful than a garden hose.

Washing siding is a long drawn out process as the pressure just doesn’t quite cut the dirt, etc. Cleaning anything too greasy is a several step process requiring de – greaser, washing, de – greaser, washing, rinse, repeat. The soap siphon does work reliably though, something I’ve had problems with on others.
I’ve also found the the reset / transformer? button on the plug is pretty finicky. I don’t believe that I’ve ever been able to hook up the water hose, run it through the wand to protect the pump and start working.

Pressure Washer Tip: How much horsepower do I need? If you are unsure about choosing the right sized engine for your pressure washer, just keep this in mind: a higher horsepower engine is required to produce higher PSI and higher GPM, resulting in more CPU.

I ALWAYS have to set & reset it several times before it decides to co – operate and try to get the job done.
The bottom line is, don’t buy this for heavy duty work, especially if you’re in a hurry to get something done – it’s more of a hobby unit. ”
