CONS 1.) Rear tank leaked from the bottom. After i filled it with concrete cleaner (which i found out is slightly corrosive) i discovered that the screw cap on the bottom wasn’t secure... attempted to tighten it (ouch). 2.) Rear tank line has a kink in it. Many reviewers have also made this comment. HOME DEPOT SHOULD HAVE THIS RESOLVED! KNOWN ISSUE! 3.) Soap dispenser did not function on front or rear tank. 4.) Front plate beautifully displays the rigid logo, however from having the soap in the insert, the vibrations caused the unit to throw soap from the full bottle onto the front plate, the soap damaged the plate... Not good seeing that i have used the unit for 15 minutes. PROS 1.) Subaru Engine... The only engine better than a Honda is a Subaru... Started on the first pull. 2.) My 2600 has been perfect for two years. A few weeks ago I was finishing a job and removing the hoses. the Galvanic action noted above basically welded the discharge to the hose. After finally removing the discharge from the pump and the hose from the discharge, I realized what happened. After some research, I called customer service [@] and talked to a very nice lady, explaining what had happened and also making it clear that the washer was NOT under warranty. I bought this bad boy a couple of months ago after I had already purchased and returned another model from a competing hardware store. After the return of the first one, I did some thorough research and found the Ridgid 3k PSI looked good with the Suburu/CAT combo. Suburu seems to rival that of Honda with reliability and performance as they have been making engines for years under the Robin name. Cat pumps have a reputation for being well built and durable. You cant go wrong with this setup. The disadvantage of the "Maintenance Free" pumps you get with the cheaper washers is just that, you cant maintain them, once they go bad, they are garbage. If you're looking at getting a pressure washer, look no further, spend the extra money and get this machine. You wont look back. For me, this beast has cleaned my concrete, stripped my deck (like new), washed my tillers, mowers, cars/truck, trailer, BBQ grill and house and does it all without missing a beat.
